Rear Cobra Brake Kit for 8.8 (5-lug) with Fox Axle Length

Designed for performance and reliability, this kit features 11.625" vented rotors (drilled and slotted, 5-lug) for maximum cooling and durability. The complete package includes a pair of NEW Cobra rear calipers, brake pads, braided hoses, machined aluminum brackets, and hardware, making it a perfect drum-to-disc conversion upgrade. Built specifically for Fox axle length, this kit delivers OEM-quality fitment with modern performance. Ideal for 1979–1993 Mustang owners wanting improved braking without sacrificing factory-style installation.

NOTE: Master cylinder changes are not needed on rear conversions only.  We always want to match the master cylinder to the front caliper piston area.  If you upgrade to Cobra brakes up front, we then would recommend our 15/16" bore master.

NOTE:  Fits with some 15" wheels but not all.  If there is a 15" wheel you are trying to fit, we can email templates to verify fitment. If you want to be able to run a variety of 15" wheels the 10.5" kit is a better option.

What is recommended with this rear kit?  If you have stock front brakes no master change is needed.  We would recommend a prop valve, our prop valve plug and if you want the park brake to work, our cables.  That is it!
